My name is Sammy, and I am a 1 year old, 30-pound male french bulldog with tons of energy and love to give! I am a happy-go-lucky ball of energy who loves walks, playing with my toys, and cuddles. I get along with just about everybody- I am good with children of all ages (I have been around infants all the way up to 10 year olds) and love to play with other dogs! I have never lived with a cat, but think I would do well based on my agreeable personality.<br/><br/>My ideal home is one with a fenced in yard, as I love to run around and explore! I could also live in an apartment as long as my new owner has the time to take me on some daily walks to help me spend some of my energy. I may require you to use some muscle on my walks, as I am quite strong on the leash and am working on my leash manners. I am very athletic, so I can do stairs if needed. I am mostly potty trained, with only a couple of instances of "marking" in the house, but my foster mom has been working to teach me to do all of my business outside and it is going well! I also know a few commands such as "come," "stay," and my favorite... "EAT!" I am very food motivated and get so excited at mealtimes that I need a slow feeder bowl to slow me down. Even though I love food, I am well-mannered and won't jump up on you/your tables to get yours (I'll just look at you with my cute eyes in hopes that you'll cave and give me a piece.)<br/><br/>I am also crate trained and sleep in my crate at night. I might bark for a minute when I initially go into the crate for bedtime, but I am quick to settle down and fall asleep. I do also occasionally bark at that pesky mailman. Overall I am a well-mannered, adaptable, handsome, and energetic boy who is eager to please and would love to be your new companion!
