Once we have received your completed questionnaire someone will be in touch to set up an appointment for you to come in and meet the pet(s) you are interested in. If you have questions prior to completing the questionnaire please email info@clarkshelter.org or call (859)737-0053. Appointments will not be scheduled until the questionnaire is completed. This process can typically be completed the same day or by the next day depending on appointment availability. <br/><br/>Sammy came to the shelter after living on a chain most of his life. He was underweight and overloaded with parasites which were slowly killing him. Withing 2 weeks of arrival and treatment Sammy had gained 8 pounds. The change in his demeanor and energy were remarkable. He is now very bouncy and playful. Sammy is working with our volunteer training and is already showing that he is very smart. He is a vocal boy that is very food motivated. Due to his past he has never learned how to share so he would be best suited for a home without small children where he could be an only pet. Sammy loves everyone he meets and is always wagging his tail. He wants to be with people and is hoping to find the perfect couch to spend the holidays...and the rest of his life on!
