Sammy

We rescued Sammy from an owner who had too many dogs and according to her county law enforcement needed to rehome some of them. In addition Sammy was in danger of being shot by a neighbor when he roamed.

2.5-3 year old Sammy is a total love bug! He is the sweetest, gentlest boy. He loves to receive attention and get treats. He is very loving and tolerant of the cats in his foster home. Sammy is playful with other dogs and loves balls. On the smaller side for a male, Sammy weighs about 80 lbs. He has a shortened tail, possibly missing about 1/3. The vet thinks it was intentionally removed for some reason before he came to us. Sammy needs to be neutered before he can officially be adopted.

Sammy is:
good with dogs & cats
loves people & kids
not a livestock guardian dog
up to date on vaccines
microchipped
heartworm negative

Sammy is located in Columbia, MO

Adoption Requirements
*A secure & visible fence
*A home visit
*A vet check with at least a two year vet history

Adopters can be located in Missouri and surrounding states Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, and Arkansas.
