Sammy

Sammy was an unclaimed stray at our local animal control. When we went to meet him he was energetic and friendly and got along with 2 other dogs there that we were meeting. We decided to take Sammy into our rescue. Thats when we saw a problem, Sammy saw the leash we were going to put on him to walk him out and started barking and growling and wanted to bite. We tried everything to get a leash on him but he was not having any part of that. So since he is crate trained we put a treat in his crate and he went right inside so we carried him out that way with no problem. We are working with him on this but we do not want to put him in a home with kids. Sammy's adopter must also have a fenced in yard.<br/>Sammy's adoption fee of $400. covers all of his shots, his neuter, fecal test, heart worm test, and microchip.
