Sammie

Are you looking for a chill little guy that can go everywhere and anywhere with you? Look no further! Sammie is a 12 pound, Shih Tzu who would love to be your new best friend.

Sammie was found in Houston as a stray and taken in by a former dog rescuer. He was cleaned up and vetted and then found his way to our rescue. Sammie is a typical Shih Tzu. He loves his people, enjoys playing with toys and his foster siblings, and has a sweet personality. We believe he is between 4 1⁄2 - 5 years old.

He will need regular grooming, especially to keep the hair out of his eyes. Sammie walks well on a leash and does well with a regular potty schedule. He has been working on crate training and does well when crated during the day. At night he sleeps in his doggy bed next to his foster parent's bed.

If you think Sammie might be a fit for you, fill out an application to meet him!
