Sam's Story

Meet Sammy!

He's a happy, playful, ball of energy until he's not... and then he's taking a puppy nap, to reenergize and play some more! He's also an 'observer'; he enjoys watching what's going on around him. There's definitely a lot going on in his little head and it really makes you wonder what he's thinking. Note: Observant dogs are typically highly intelligent, trainable breeds with strong herding or working backgrounds, designed to notice subtle changes in their environment.

Sam is completely ready for his Furever family/person to find him! He's potty trained, walks well on a leash and has begun learning commands such as 'sit', 'stay' and 'come'. He's a great car passenger and could easily be a road-trip buddy.

Sam's does well with dogs and cats, coming from a foster home full of both. He has attended a handful of adoption events, participated in Puppy Day Care and regularly visits stores. Regular walks would help him excel in socializing.

At 7.5 months old and not quite 30 lbs. he's the perfect age to join a forever family and the perfect size for a little girl or boy looking for a furry best friend. And, Sam is ready to move in... he's had all of his puppy shots, is neutered and microchipped.

We are happy to answer all of your questions!
