Sam was found as a stray, she has been through her quarantine. Spayed and tested. She did test positive for to tick borne diseases, 28 days of doxycycline will take care of it. Fortunately, she was heartworm negative. She’s residing at the shelter so we don’t have a lot of information on her characteristics and behavior. We require a fenced in yard, companions are not to be chained...must seek medical attention for illness in a timely manner. Keep current on flea, tick, heart worm medication and vaccinations. If you are needing to re-home the companion you will need to contact us first. You will be subject to cruelty charges as stated in Title 21 of the cruelty act, if a companion in your care is found suffering and the animal will revert back to RBCW. We would like to be informed should the animal pass away.
