While he has the elegant look of a classic Italian Greyhound, he packs a surprisingly feisty and boisterous personality into his slender frame!<br/><br/>His Personality<br/>Salvatore is a "velcro dog" in the making. He is quite personable and will frequently initiate contact, coming up to his trusted humans for pets and ear<br/>scratches. He is an incredibly smart, quick learner who picks up on routines and house rules with impressive speed. When he isn't showing off his clever side, you can find him curled up in a "cuddle puddle"—he thrives on physical affection and is at his happiest when snuggled up against a canine buddy.<br/><br/>The "Zoomie" Specialist<br/>One of Salvatore’s most endearing quirks is his sheer athleticism. He is bouncy, jumpy, and full of life! He lives for a good sprint and loves to show off his speed with lightning-fast laps around the yard. Watching him "boing" around like a tiny kangaroo is guaranteed to keep a smile on your face.<br/><br/>The Perfect Home Environment A Gentle World: <br/>Like many sensitive pups, Salvatore has a notable aversion to men. He will need a<br/>patient, female-led household or a home with very gentle males who understand how to give him space and let him approach on his own terms.<br/><br/>The Buddy System: <br/>Salvatore is a pack animal through and through. He is at his most confident<br/>when he has a dog friend to play, run, and nap with.<br/><br/>Patience & Growth: <br/>While he is bright and eager, he is still a work in progress. He needs a family that<br/>can offer consistent, gentle guidance to help him reach his full, confident potential.<br/><br/>Why You’ll Love Him:<br/>Salvatore is that special dog who rewards your patience with exuberant joy. He’s a clever, cuddly, and spunky companion who just needs the right environment to truly ignite.
