Apply to Adopt Me!<br/>Sweet Salome' was sadly kept on a back porch ... where she was given no time, affection or love, or potty breaks.... just left all alone. Luckily she was noticed by a neighbor, who occasionally went over and took her out for the attention that she craved. The owner agreed to surrender Salome' to our rescue.<br/><br/>This 3 1/2yo, 19lb. sweet and friendly possible terrier/chihuahua mix appears housebroken, and after only a day of shyness, she opened up and has become such a love! She will give you lots of kisses, do zoomies and then settle down to her calm self as close to you as she can get, enjoying a doggy bone.<br/><br/>Salome' loves walks, and is easy to handle. She apparently hasn't had toys in her past but is learning they can be fun. She definitely loves chewies!<br/><br/>She has not been around cats while with our rescue, but has been introduced to another dog and is dog friendly.<br/><br/>So far, this sweet lady is quiet and we haven't heard her bark - not at the other dogs, or any wildlife passing by. That may change once she's comfortable and in her forever home, but then.... maybe not.<br/><br/>We are recommending an all-adult home for her. If you would like to show Salome' how good life can actually be, she would be eternally grateful. We are requiring a fenced yard for her to do her zoomies.
