Sally's Story

Sally is a 30 lb basset hound puppy who came to us as a stray. She is sweet, hilarious, and full of joyful puppy charm.

In her foster home, Sally has been making great progress with loose-leash walking, recall, crate training, and potty training (currently going out about every ~4 hours). Sally sleeps through the night in her crate, is very treat-motivated, and learns quickly. She loves toys and playtime, food, and getting all the scratches.

Like any puppy, she can be a little mischievous but redirects easily and is picking up house rules fast. Her play style is somewhat rowdy, so she’d do best with a similarly playful dog her size or bigger, or as a solo pup. She previously lived with a dog-savvy cat and did well. Sally could thrive in a house or apartment with structure, exercise, and continued training. If you’re ready for a fun, sweet, and slightly mischievous best friend, Sally is your girl!
