Sally's Story

Sally is an adorable, scruffy little lady with a big heart, and an even bigger love for her people! This sweet young thing is happiest when she's getting attention, cuddling with her favorite humans, or exploring the world with her nose to the ground.

Her foster describes her as incredibly loving and affectionate, with a wonderfully happy personality. She greets people with a wagging tail and plenty of kisses, and if given the choice, she'd happily spend the whole day snuggled up beside you. Or right on your lap!

Sally's favorite things include snuggle time, snacks and meals, stuffy toys, and going for walks. She especially enjoys exploring new places and stopping to sniff all the interesting sights and smells along the way. She's also living happily with another dog in her foster home and seems to really enjoy having a canine companion around.

Sally also has progressive heart disease and requires daily medication and ongoing veterinary care. Because of this, she is looking for a special adopter who is committed to maintaining a relationship with a full-service veterinarian and making sure she continues to receive the care she needs. But Sally isn't letting her medical condition stop her from enjoying life, and she is still a very joyful, devoted girl who has so much love to give. And she's ready to find someone who will cherish her, keep her comfortable, and make the most of every day with her!

If you're looking for a fun, loving, scruffy companion, and are prepared to give this girl the extra care she deserves, Sally may be your perfect match!

------------------------------------

This dog is considered a mixed breed because it's not accurate to identify breed mix by sight alone, so for most dogs, their mix is only a guess. We get to know each dog as an individual and strive to make matches based on personality, not on breed label.

------------------------------------

This dog is currently located in a PAWS foster home. In order to meet with any dogs in foster care, you will need to have a fully processed and approved application first. To get the adoption process started, please complete the adoption application at phillypaws.org/dogapp.

If you have any questions, feel free to email adoptions@phillypaws.org or call 215-298-9680 ext. 16.

Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society, 2900 Grays Ferry Ave, Phila, PA 19146 (by appointment only).
