Through no fault of his own, he is now searching for a new forever home—one where he can once again share the warmth, comfort, and close connection he’s always known.<br/><br/>True to his Aussie nature, Salem is smart, engaged, and brimming with personality. When he gets excited, he does the most endearing little vertical hops—his signature “boing!”—that never fails to instantly make you smile. He is wonderful with other dogs and prefers to stay close to his people, often choosing companionship over wandering off on his own.<br/><br/>Salem is excellent on leash and has spent his life in a farm environment. He is calm, confident, and trustworthy around horses, heavy equipment, and the everyday sights and sounds of farm life, taking it all in stride. He is housebroken, crate trained, and happiest in a home where dogs are truly considered part of the family—including being welcome on the furniture for snuggles and quiet time.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a loyal, people-oriented Australian Shepherd with farm sense, good manners, and a whole lot of heart (plus a few joyful “boings”), Salem is ready to bring love, companionship, and happiness into his next chapter.
