Sal's Story

That salt and pepper coat, those puppy dog eyes, that big beefy pittie head... What's not to love about Sal?

This 4-year-old pup is looking for a loving family to welcome him with open arms. He's an active dog who enjoys going on adventures-- anything from hiking to swimming to taking a road trip. But Sal is a lover at heart. All he wants is to cuddle and lay his head on your shoulder. At the end of an exciting day, there's nothing he wants more than to settle down on the couch with the people he loves and sleep to his heart's content.

Sal is good with other dogs but can be selective. He has a preference for females but can also get along well with calm, respectful male friends. Unfortunately, due to experiences in his previous home, Sal is not very comfortable around kids. Older teenagers would be best for him.
