Sailor's Story

Hi! I’m Sailor! I’m a 9-month-old male Dachshund/Lab mix weighing about 20 pounds, and I’m one of those dogs who seems to fit in just about anywhere. I’m sweet, friendly, and do wonderfully with everyone I meet—people, kids, and other dogs included.

I still have that fun puppy energy, meaning I enjoy walks, chasing a ball, and getting some playtime in each day, but I’m not over-the-top wild. I’m the kind of guy who’s happy to be active and then settle in once the fun is over. I share nicely, even my food bowl, and have an easygoing, gentle nature.

I’ve done especially well around kids and would be a great fit for a family home. Truly, I’m just one of those “good everywhere” dogs who wants to be part of the action and loved.

I am fully vetted, including being neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and up to date on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. If you’re looking for a happy, adaptable young dog with a great temperament, I could be your perfect match. My adoption fee is $450.

Please apply to adopt me here:
https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/63adcb00cb896f59b74103d2/697bca7433d6187558014207

———

If interested, please do not submit an inquiry through Petfinder.
