Their momma is Marge - a Cocker Spaniel and we believe their dad must have been a Shih Tzu.<br/><br/>They are doing awesome and are ready to find their forever families!<br/><br/>ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:<br/><br/>Physically fenced in yard preferred.<br/>Family with the time and patience required to properly train and socialize a puppy.<br/>Local adoption ONLY (Sioux Falls, SD area) to fulfill spay contract with the rescue's veterinarian.<br/><br/>Sage's adoption fee is $600 plus tax, which includes her spay surgery (at 6 months).*All SFCR dogs are current on age-appropriate vaccinations (rabies, distemper, bordetella, and lepto), spayed/neutered (if at least 6 months of age), tested for heartworm & tick-borne diseases, receive dentals if needed, are started on preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and microchipped.<br/><br/>Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have received limited socialization, so they generally require extra time to settle in and acclimate. Skills like house training, leash walking, and mastering stairs may require a little extra practice. However, with understanding, patience, and a gentle hand, most of our dogs adapt quite quickly.
