Sage's Story

Meet Sage! This poor girl was found living under a house and is now safe at TRACS. Sage was born around November 11, weighs 17 pounds, and our best guess on her breed is Australian Cattle Dog and Shepherd mix. She is a very happy pup who is adjusting well to her new surroundings and is eager to find a family of their own. Sage is current on their vaccines and microchipped. She is not spayed and will go home as a foster-to-adopt, which means the adopters and TRACS are co-owners until they are fixed. We require a refundable $150 spay deposit and provide a $50 off spay voucher for each puppy. Their individual adoption fee is $300. Thompson River Animal Care Shelter's Adoption Policy

TRACS has a pre-screening adoption application that we do require prior to any adoption. The link to that application is listed on this page (and found on the homepage of our website pet-tracs.com. Our adoption specialist will reach out via text to confirm receipt of the application and to discuss next steps, including scheduling an appointment to visit the dog(s) or cats of interest. If the application is accepted and the dog or cat of interest is selected, TRACS does do same day adoptions!!
