Sage's Story

Sage is a lovely 4-year-old who was struggling to adjust as her family situation evolved. Her family realized that the increasingly restricted life she was leading just to keep the peace wasn’t in her best interest, so they reached out to SBR for help.<br/><br/>Sage is bunking with an experienced foster family while we sort out her medical situation. She is long overdue for a vet visit and will need to be spayed. We look forward to learning more about this sweet girl as she settles in with her foster pack and begins her next chapter.<br/><br/>And there’s a little something special about her name! Sage is an herb, and its Latin root, salvus, means “healthy” or “safe.” Sage is on her way to being both!
