He’s a sensitive soul who can be shy with new people and new situations, and he needs a patient, understanding family who will give him the time and space he needs to feel safe.<br/><br/>Sage does best in a calm, predictable environment where he isn’t rushed to “be brave.” Trust is something he builds slowly, but it is incredibly meaningful once earned. Having a confident, friendly resident dog in the home is required for Sage. Another dog helps him feel secure, shows him the ropes, and gives him the reassurance he needs to come out of his shell.<br/><br/>When Sage does trust you, he truly shines. He becomes loving, loyal, and deeply connected to his people, making him a wonderful companion for someone who understands that the best relationships are worth waiting for. Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will send to the foster family to set up a meet!<br/><br/>The adoption fee of $350 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED!
