Sage's Story

Meet Sage! She is very shy Catahoula mix who came to us from a sister shelter. Sage will need some patience and gentleness. She is not used to a leash and we have been working with her. She walks ok once on a leash and out of the shelter. She becomes very trusting once she is comfortable. Sage will make a very loyal companion in a loving home.

By the way, Sage is spayed, microchipped, and current on all shots -- all ready for a new home.

For more information, please call Douglas County Animal Services (DCAS) at 775-782-9061. Or come meet me at the Douglas County Animal Shelter (please call first to make sure I'm still at the shelter). Click on Douglas Animal Welfare Group below for the address and directions.

ALSO A "MEET AND GREET" WILL BE REQUIRED IF THERE ARE ANY OTHER DOGS IN THE HOUSEHOLD.

ONE LAST THING! If you rent, you will be required to provide written approval from your landlord that you can have a dog. It needs to be specific, i.e. all dogs okay, no big dogs, specific breeds restricted, etc.
