This beautiful purebred Great Dane came to rescue from a difficult situation, arriving terrified and unsure of the world around her. Having spent her early life sheltered from everyday experiences, everything was new and overwhelming. But Sage is resilient. With patience, love, and guidance, she has made incredible progress and continues to grow in confidence every day. One thing that has always been clear is how deeply Sage loves her people. Once she trusts you, she forms an incredibly strong bond and wants nothing more than to be by your side. Sage dreams of a home where she can be the center of someone's world. She can be protective of her person around other pets and would likely thrive as an only pet, where she doesn't have to share your attention. She does currently do well with a confident kitty and a senior Newfie at her foster. She also does well with dogs outside of the home. Trust us, at Great Dane size, she'll take up more than enough space on your couch and in your heart!
