Having spent her early life sheltered from everyday experiences, everything was new and overwhelming. But Sage is resilient. With patience, love, and guidance, she has made incredible progress and continues to grow in confidence every day. One thing that has always been clear is how deeply Sage loves her people. Once she trusts you, she forms an incredibly strong bond and wants nothing more than to be by your side. Sage is a dog who will need time to find confidence again when moving somewhere new. She is fearful on a leash, and requires a securely fenced yard. Once she settles in, she is a silly, playful puppy with a happy tail. Her new family must be dedicated to being patient while they earn her trust, but watching her blossom will warm your heart. Having a confident dog for her to follow has proven helpful, especially an XL doggie friend.
