Meet Sage! <br/><br/>At just 10 weeks old and currently weighing 4 pounds, Sage is pure perfection! <br/><br/>Sage got the very best start in life after we rescued her mama from a local shelter while she was extremely pregnant and already in labor. Willow safely delivered her babies in foster care, where they’ve been loved, spoiled, and socialized from day one. <br/><br/>Sage is exactly what small breed puppies should be:<br/><br/>✔️Curious<br/>✔️Spunky<br/>✔️Silly<br/>✔️Full of personality<br/><br/>She spends her days zooming around the yard, wrestling with her siblings, “borrowing” leaves and sticks, and investigating absolutely everything she can find before piling together with her siblings for a nap in the fluffiest dog bed available.<br/><br/>Current obsessions:<br/><br/>❤️Toys, toys, and more toys<br/>❤️Wrestling matches with siblings<br/>❤️Exploring outside<br/>❤️Carrying around leaves and sticks like treasures<br/>❤️Puppy treats<br/>❤️Belly rubs<br/>❤️Snuggles and naps<br/><br/>Like all puppies, Sage is still learning potty training and basic manners. She is doing well with structure and routine in foster care, but because she is a tiny puppy with a tiny bladder, she currently needs potty breaks every 3–4 hours during the day and once overnight. Her future family should be ready to continue consistent puppy training with patience, routine, and lots of encouragement.<br/><br/>Sage’s ideal home will include another playful, accepting dog to help show her the ropes and burn off puppy energy. She does well with other small dogs, cats, and dog-savvy children. She will not be adopted into a home without friendly and accepting dog companion.<br/><br/>Sage is joyful, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining. With continued training and socialization, she is going to make a wonderful lifelong companion. ❤️<br/><br/>Please note: We are not first come, first served.
