Mahopac NY location<br/>Very sad story here, these 3 babies need a home asap. Their owner died in a horrific crash a few days ago and friends are helping care for these babies. 2 are rottweilers that are bonded the 3rd is a smaller dog. We would love to keep them all together Please read below.<br/><br/>A 62-year old Mahopac resident was killed in a car accident on Monday night. She leaves behind her beloved dogs, two Rottweilers and a Pomeranian, that need homes. The older Rottweiler, Saffron Star, is 8 years old and Grace Bee is 4 years old. Both are spade; we do not know their vaccine status. All are bonded but the Pom could be separated if needed but we would like to try to.keep them together.<br/><br/>The dogs were well loved and had the run of a large fenced-in yard and are comfortable using a dog door. They are active and go for regular walks in a local park where they swim. They get along well with other dogs and people and enjoy playing with toys. We do not know how they would be with cats. Saffron Star is more reserved but Grace Bee is very friendly. Once they now you, they are affectionate and will snuggle with you on the couch. <br/><br/>Diane’s friends are taking turns taking care of the dogshort term, but they need a permanent home where they can heal from this terrible loss. <br/><br/>If interested you must complete our process by filling out an application and having references done and a home visit <br/>Message or email us at rottnrescues@aol.com for an application<br/><br/>These babies will need to go to someone that understands grief and not have alot of other dogs.
