Meet Saffron! <br/><br/>Saffron is a handsome 35-pound puppy with a heart as big as his playful personality. Neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready to find his forever family, this sweet boy is the perfect mix of adventure buddy and cuddle companion.<br/><br/>Like any young pup, Saffron is energetic, curious, and always looking for fun. He loves to play, explore, and investigate the world around himbut when playtime is over, he is happiest curled up in your lap soaking up affection. In fact, one of his favorite parts of the day is coming out of his crate for snuggle time. He absolutely melts into his humans and loves being close to his people.<br/><br/>Saffron has done wonderfully with children and was a polite little gentleman while meeting smaller kids at PrairieFest. He happily sat for pets and enjoyed all the attention. He would likely thrive in a home with another playful dog, but he could also be successful as an only dog as long as he receives plenty of love, attention, and exercise.<br/><br/>He currently lives with cats and is still learning that they dont share his enthusiasm for playtime. When the cats tell him no, Saffron respectfully backs off, offers a playful bow, and sometimes gives a hopeful bark to see if theyll change their minds.<br/><br/>This smart puppy is making excellent progress with crate training and house training. He sleeps through the night for up to 10 hours and has proven to be very reliable with potty training when kept on a routine. He willingly settles in his crate but still appreciates a little encouragement when its time to go inside.<br/><br/>As expected for a puppy, Saffron is curious about everything and believes many objects deserve a taste test. Hes working on his leash manners and learning what is and isnt appropriate to chew. With consistency, training, and plenty of positive reinforcement, hes sure to grow into an amazing companion.<br/><br/>If youre looking for a loving, affectionate puppy who will keep you smiling with his goofy antics and then curl up beside you for a nap, Saffron may be the perfect match.
