Saffron

Saffron is a 5 month old, 25 lb female Terrier mixed breed. <br/><br/>Saffron is currently located in South Texas and will be transported to her new home. <br/><br/>This little girl with the very alert ears and beautiful sable fur is Saffron. She’s a sweet girl, the biggest in her litter, and the only mostly dark puppy (she takes after her mom). These pups and their mom were found roaming around a neighborhood, and with mom being a very friendly and sweet girl, we were able to intake them. Saffron shared her first foster home with several adult dogs and did just fine, but has recently moved to a new foster home and was introduced to a kitty, and she did just fine! She enjoys sunbathing, playing with toys, and learning how to "dog". At her age, she is still working on fully mastering leash walking and potty training, but she is crate trained. This sweet girl is eager to learn and enjoys exploring the yard, so it's fair to say she would likely make a great hiking companion. And definitely a great couch buddy for those lazy nights just walking TV. Pups like Saffron are unfortunately something we see often, a little family of stray dogs, but these guys were lucky to still be with their sweet mom, who took care of them and sought help from people. Saffron is a cutie who yearns to be loved and be a part of someone's family - perhaps yours?<br/><br/>Our organization only adopts within the United States and Canada.<br/><br/>Faith and Hope is an established rescue group based in Texas but delivers to multiple states on the East and West Coast. All dogs and cats are rescued from the state of Texas to be transported to Washington, Oregon, Colorado, Utah, Connecticut, Virginia, Maryland, and others, with placement in their adoptive family’s homes.
