Meet Sadie & Leia! We welcome two very special girls back to the Suncoast Basset Rescue family. Sadie, a lovely bagel, and Leia, a beautiful basset hound, are both SBR alums who found their forever home several years ago. They are each approximately 9 years old.<br/><br/>Sadly, their family's health challenges made it impossible for them to continue caring for the girls, so they reached back out to SBR. Of course, we were happy to step in and welcome Sadie and Leia back with open arms.<br/><br/>These two full-figured ladies have a little catching up to do. They'll be getting some much-needed spa time, medical care, and a healthier eating plan to help them get back to their best selves. Fortunately, they've landed with a wonderful foster family who is ready to give them all the care, patience, and love they need.<br/><br/>So far, Sadie and Leia are proving to be wonderfully mild-mannered girls who seem happy to go with the flow. They've lived together for several years, so we'd like to keep these two friends together if we can. We'll know more about what the future holds as they settle into foster care and we get to know them better. Once an SBR dog, always an SBR dog!
