Sadie

Sadie is a 9+ year old lab mix. Sadie was surrendered to a shelter in KY after her dad passed away. Giving everything she’s gone through she is truly resilient. She is one of the sweetest dogs her foster family has ever had. <br/><br/>Sadie is potty trained, crate trained and absolutely loves going for walks. She is perfect with dogs and cats alike. Once she bonds to her person, she never wants you out of her sight! <br/><br/>Sadie has likely been overweight for quite some time, and will need an owner understanding of her needs and willing to continue her weight loss journey with her! Due to her size, shes unable to do more than a couple steps at a time. She requires weight management food. <br/><br/>Sadie is currently on supplements to help her joints and is being treated for a tick-borne illness. She has a benign fatty lump on her shoulder, but otherwise her bloodwork looked very good for a dog of her age and size! <br/><br/>Sadie is safe and happy with her current foster while she works on losing weight and becoming a healthier pup, but we’re not opposed to accepting applications now if anyone feels that she’d be a great addition to their family!<br/><br/>If you’re interested in adopting Sadie please complete an application at www.rosebudrescue.com/adopt <br/><br/>*Please keep in mind that it is time consuming for our volunteers to process applications.
