Sadie's Story
Sadie is a gorgeous tree walker hound. She is in foster with dogs and does well. Shes also been to doggie daycare. Shes a bigger gal (working on losing a few pounds) at 65 lbs. She is about 4/5 years old and fully vetted and spayed Sadie likes her adult humans and a quiet home. She does best in a home without children - even though they tend to help her get snacks. Or older children who she sees more as small adults. Child energy is too much for her and makes her anxious and even a little jealous. She is a mix of wanting attention, pets and snuggles and then wanting her space to lie in the sun and doggie dream. She loves belly rubs and ear scratches she loves to sun bathe all day on the porch or the yard. She also loves walks and car rides. She is kennel/crate trained but is insanely smart so needs a crate with a second latch or shell lift her own door open and let herself out. She can open latches or doors that are handles too Sadie did a 2 week training with Kranenburg training. She has great recall, knows all basic commands and is very food motivated. She will counter surf like most hounds. She will sleep on the bed for most of the night or a bed nearby and then go out early morning. Like most hounds she will howl for sirens. She just wants to be close to her adult humans and when she wants attention she will tell you by pawing. She is a good girl who would love a quiet home to spend her life. A sunny spot, maybe a doggie friend. She doesnt have prey drive with squirrels so cats may be ok.
