Meet Sadie, a sweet 7 year old, 35 lb Whippet mix who is ready to be someone’s loyal shadow. She was sadly surrendered to the shelter due to her prior owner’s health. She’s a gentle, laid back girl who loves being close to her people, with short bursts of playful energy where she’ll zoom happily around the yard. She enjoys carrying a ball as she wanders around outside, walks beautifully on leash, and is an easy, relaxed passenger on car rides. At night, she sleeps soundly in bed and loves the comfort of being near her person.<br/><br/>Sadie thrives on companionship, so she would do best with someone who is home most of the time. She thrives as the only pet and requires a cat-free home where she can soak up all the love and attention.
