Sadie

Meet Sadie! Sadie is a 2 year old, 38 lb female Catahoula mix! <br/>Sadie was found running the streets at a warehouse where tractor trailers are plentiful. It took a few good Samaritans to help catch her to keep her from getting hit by trucks. We hoped her owner would show up to rescue her, but unfortunately, they never came so a foster stepped up and took her in to keep her safe until she can find her forever home. <br/>Sadie was taken to the vet to get checked out and we learned that this very active girl was heartworm positive. She has finished up her heartworm treatment and is doing well. <br/><br/><br/>She is a very energetic, smart and loving girl. She will definitely need a home that she can get plenty of exercise and room to run and play during the day. In the evenings, she loves curling up with a good toy in her person’s lap for napping. She can wary of of strangers but warms up fast and has been doing a lot better with meeting new people! <br/><br/>Sadie is up to date on all shots, spayed and micro-chipped and on heartworm prevention. She is current on monthly flea, tick and heartworm prevention. She is available locally for meet and greets.
