Sadie (Courtesy Post)'s Story

Hi! I'm Sadie, and I'm a sweet, friendly girl who loves meeting new people. I have no trouble coming right up to say hello, and I'm easygoing, affectionate, and curious by nature. Treats are one of my favorite things—I'll happily take them and sit politely, giving you my full attention while hoping for more.

I enjoy being petted and handled and have no issues with it at all. I walk beautifully on leash in my back-clipped harness and don't pull—I really shine on walks. If another dog gives me a bit of a side eye, I might bark, but once I'm properly introduced, I'm totally fine. I remember my dog friends, and after that, it's smooth sailing. I do great with friends' and neighbors' dogs.

I know my basics like sit, stay, come, and no, and I'd thrive with someone who understands us German shepherd dogs and enjoys continuing my training. I've been to puppy classes, love learning, and respond well to guidance.

I'm fully vetted and very well cared for—my coat is soft and clean, my teeth and ears are in great shape, and my nails are neatly trimmed. My favorite toys are balls and stuffies, and I'm excellent in the car. I love going along for rides and hop in and out with ease. I've been around kids and do great with them. I haven't met cats yet.

I'm a stunning girl with long legs and a beautiful, smooth gait (I trot like a pro!). I may jump up gently when I want extra affection, but it's just because I love being close to my people. All in all, I'm a loving, friendly, well-mannered companion who's ready to be someone's very special girl.

I'll be waiting in Los Gatos.

You like this dog...now what?
