Ask if she wants to go outside and she comes alive, spinning in happy circles with a little excited whine.<br/><br/>She’s good with kids and has done well with a kindergarten-aged neighbor and her foster’s young teen. She likes a slow hello with new people; give her a moment to settle and, once she feels safe, she’s your buddy.<br/><br/>Sadie is house trained, leash trained, and crate trained, though she feels nervous confined in a crate; she has free-roamed for up to four hours with no mischief. Her foster works from home, so she goes outside several times a day. On walks she can be protective and may bark or growl at passersby, but her foster is working to soften that tendency.<br/><br/>With some missing teeth, she eats water-softened kibble in three small meals, which has helped her weight. Since she can fixate on squirrels, cats and some dogs, a secure, taller privacy fence is preferred for Sadie to live her best life.
