Sadie* A214266's Story

VIP: Sadie is so sweet! She went on a group dog walk and was such a good girl! She was excited to get out to go for a walk in the park! She was easy to gear up with a harness and lead. She's very curious in her surroundings too.
Sadie is not overly affectionate and seems to be looking for something when she's outdoors. She may have a bit of Blue Heeler in her. She loaded into the truck without issue, enjoyed her ride and was very calm. She did show some excitement on arrival at the park when she saw they other dogs unloading.
Along the walk she loved the sights and smells, soaking it all in. Sadie walked well on leash with steady energy. She didn't pay too much attention to the dogs in the group and was curious regarding the passing public. On the ride back, she took a quick nap and went right into her kennel afterwards. She seems to prefer a home without cats. Sadie is about 4 years of age and just LOVES treats!
Adopted animals are not able to go to their new home until spay and neuter surgery has been done.
Adoptions are first come first serve, and no appointment or application is needed. When asking about an animal, please provide the identification number that starts with A.
For more information, please call the shelter at 972.769.4360.
