Sadie's Story

Sadie is currently fostered in Mount Arlington, New Jersey. She is available for out-of-state adoption and transportation to her forever home can be coordinated by our rescue.

+++

Meet beautiful Sadie! She is one of a kind.

Sadie is a spunky, sassy little 4-month-old Chow mix puppy with a big personality packed into a small package. She may take a few minutes to warm up to new people, but once she does (and it’s usually quick!), she’s affectionate and engaging.

She’s incredibly sweet and naturally affectionate, the kind of puppy who settles in close and makes herself right at home beside you. There’s an ease to her — she connects quickly and genuinely.

She walks beautifully on leash—so much so that her foster family genuinely looks forward to taking her out and about. At night, she settles nicely and sleeps comfortably in her crate.

With other dogs, Sadie is social and confident. She grew up surrounded by her siblings and does really well in that kind of environment. She is currently fostered with another doggy sibling, who she adores (and reminds him of this by kissing him on the mouth throughout the day!). She can hold her own during playtime, even when things get a little rowdy, but she keeps it fair and balanced.

Sadie came from a property with several other dogs, so she’s used to being part of a pack and truly thrives with canine companionship. We’d love to see her in a home with another friendly dog to help her continue to blossom, although, this is not a requirement - as our girl is perfectly confident to be the only dog in the home, too.

Sadie is doing very well with potty training and sleeps comfortably and happily in her crate at bedtime. She enjoys playtime with her doggy foster sibling - and walks BEAUTIFULLY on leash. She loves walks around her foster home.

See more videos of Sadie here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL80kWIlZCtlQu8gX0G_WaiNVn4aDAiTPe

+++++++

ADOPTION APPLICATION:
https://form.jotform.com/260401018308040

+++++++

The Truth About Rescue:

Every rescue pup is a work in progress — and that’s the beauty of it. None of them come wrapped in a bow, ready-made or mistake-free. They come with stories, quirks, and hearts that have seen a lot but still choose to trust again.

Adoption isn’t about perfection; it’s about presence. Showing up for them, every day, until they know they’re finally home. That’s when you’ll see them bloom — confident, connected, and deeply loved. And somewhere along the way, you’ll realize they were never the only one being rescued.

+++++++

Once we have received your application, we will review it and reach out to set up an interview with one of our volunteers. If you have additional questions, please email us at SaintMuttsInquiries@gmail.com.

Note: As with all of our rescues, we recommend homes with children 10 years and over to ensure the best fit for both the pets and families involved.

Check out all of our adoptable pups and learn more about our rescue on our website:
www.stmuttsrescue.com
