Sadie's Story

Sadie is sweet, joyful, and genuinely funny. A beautiful girl who loves her people deeply and shows it every single day. She’s great with other dogs and equally comfortable with new people, and she’s working on her leash manners and making real progress.

She thrives with consistency and a patient hand, and she rewards that with loyalty and the kind of deep bond that only comes from a dog who has truly chosen her person.

Sadie would do best with someone who works from home or is around most of the day. She loves her people and does best when she’s not alone for long stretches. A quieter home environment suits her well, and because she’s an enthusiastic greeter, a house without very young children would be the safest fit, not because of her temperament but because she does better without chaos.

She has so much to give. She would love to hang out with you, show you all her stuffed toys, and be your best friend. She’s ready to love and be loved. Are you?

Sadie is approximately 2 years old. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. Sadie weighs 40 lbs and has a long tail. She is taking heartworm and flea preventative.

Thanks for considering a dog from Texas Cattle Dog Rescue! We place heelers all over the state of Texas.

If you're interested in one of our dogs, please first complete our adoption application. You can download it at www.texascattledogrescue.com/adopt.html.

Our adoption fees: puppies under one year old $350; adults 1-7 years old $300; seniors 8+ years old $150; seniors for seniors 8+ years old, adopters 60+ $100. Our dogs will be spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and heartworm tested before entering a new home. We conduct a home visit to help match up the right dog with the right owner.
