Sadie's Story
Meet Sadie!

This floppy-eared Doberman mix is just as silly as her ears are adorable! Sadie is just under a year old and full of energy, curiosity, and affection. She's at that fun age where every day is an adventure--and she's hoping to find a family ready to share it with her.

Being a Doberman mix, Sadie is a smart girl who likes to stay busy. She'll do best in a home that can give her some structure and lots of exercise--both for her body and her brain. She'd love to learn new tricks, go for long walks, play fun games, and show off just how clever she is. Most of all, she wants to be with her people--she's the type who will happily follow you around the house just to be near you.

Sadie has been introduced to other dogs and displays playful, puppy-like social skills. She is bouncy and fun, occasionally vocal when excited, and has a goofy habit of swinging her butt during play. She may not be a good fit for dogs with overly intense play styles, as she has become uncomfortable in those situations.

Sadie has been tested with cats and can coexist with dog-savvy, confident cats. She is very inquisitive and playful--truly a big puppy--which can make her overwhelming for some cats. She would need a home with appropriate escape routes for the cats and an adopter willing to actively supervise and manage interactions.

Sadie is looking for an active home where she can keep learning, burn off some of that young-dog energy, and then curl up nearby when the day is done. She's still growing into the amazing dog she's meant to be and just needs a family ready to guide her along the way.

Current Weight: 47lbs

Adoption Fee: $250

To Apply: www.fcrspca.org/adopt
