Sadie's Story
Name: Sadie
Age: 3 years
Breed: chi mix
Gender: female
Weight: 12.5 lbs
Good with kids: not fostered with, older calm kids if any would be best
Good with dogs: yes
Good with cats: not fostered with
Current on vaccinations: Yes
Fixed: Yes
Adoption also includes Certified Vet Inspection, and Prior vetting paperwork.

Foster location: Green Bay
Application & Website: https://www.ourpackanimalrescue.com/adoption.html

Bio: There is one dog from the fire hoarding case whose story is a little different. Sadie was saved in 2025 with the others who began arriving last year and those who joined us recently. Rather than going to a sanctuary, or being fostered for a short time in TX prior to traveling she remained in her caring southern foster home for about a year. Sadie is very timid, but a very nice dog. She is currently afraid of going outdoors, but should also be considered a flight risk. Sadie often hides. In the pantry, in the bathroom, etc. If its thundering she’ll be right there looking for comfort- or if you are going to bed she’ll make her move, and join you. She has done well with company coming to her quiet foster home, which was a pleasant surprise.
Sadie will not be a dog for a first time adopter. She will require patience, a securely fenced yard, and a home who will let her sleep in bed. It truly helps her come out of her shell. While she is scared of loud noises, new experiences, etc- she merely hides/cowers. She has never attempted to nip her foster parents and accepts pets and being picked up. Sadie enjoys the company of other dogs, but is a sophisticated lady and will growl if any energetic canines try to play chase.
To be frank- its going to take time, but when you’re talking forever- there plenty of that!

Our Pack Animal Rescue, Inc. Is an all foster based 501c3 rescue. License #487823.
Meet and greets are arranged after an application has been approved. An approved application does not require you to adopt the dog of interest, if it is not a match.
