Hi, I’m Sadie! I’m a Dachshund mix weighing about 20 lbs and will be 5 years old in the spring. I am very affectionate and love to snuggle. I am easy to take care of, I love to sleep in and I don’t bark. I only need a few walks a day to take care of business and smell the outdoors.<br/>All my shots are current, I’m spayed and I’m house-trained. I’m loyal and also protective of my owner. Sometimes this makes me growl at other dogs that I don’t know and it’s best to keep me at a distance from them. I can also be a little shy around strangers and I like the chance to warm up to them first.<br/>My current owner is getting up in years and can’t take me for very long walks anymore so I’m starting to put on some weight. I would benefit from a younger owner who can take me for longer walks.
