Meet Sadie! ????<br/><br/>Sadie is a 4-year-old Pit mix who came to us as a stray on 8/31. When she first arrived, she was absolutely terrified of everything around her. It took quite a bit of time, patience, and gentle encouragement for her to even begin coming out of her shell.<br/><br/>And honestly, we don’t think we’ve met the real Sadie yet. ??<br/><br/>Shelter life can be overwhelming for a sensitive girl like Sadie, and we truly believe there is so much more to her personality waiting to come out. She needs someone who understands that trust doesn’t always happen overnight and is willing to give her the time and patience she needs to feel safe.<br/><br/>Sadie does well with other dogs, and we think she could really benefit from having a confident, social dog in her new home. Having a canine friend to show her that the world isn’t so scary may help her gain confidence and discover just how much fun being a dog can be!<br/><br/>We aren’t looking for someone to simply take Sadie home and expect her to immediately blossom. We’re looking for someone willing to give her a little grace, a little patience, and a whole lot of love. We believe that once Sadie feels safe, we’re going to see a completely different side of this beautiful girl.<br/><br/>Sometimes the dogs who need the most patience end up becoming the ones who love you the most. ????<br/><br/>Sadie is waiting for someone who will give her the chance to finally become the dog she was always meant to be. ??
