Sadie's Story

Learn about Sadie from her foster!

Likes: Walk and explore, chill out on a comfy chair, quietly supervise your household duties, getting lots of head rubs and pep talks
Dislikes: Loud or sudden noises, baths, but I think it was because it was her first one, stairs--again, I think they are a new experience for her.
Keywords that describe Sadie: Shy, Cuddlebug, Smart, Potty Trained, Good with Dogs, Good On A Leash

Considering I don't think she has spent much time living indoors, she is very well behaved. She doesn't chew on things, listens very well. She is very sweet and eager to please, so she learns quickly. She picked up on our routine in less than 2 days. Although she is young and energetic, she matched her energy level to my older, smaller dog, and is happy lounging in my office (snoring loudly and adorably) while I work. Also, no accidents! :) I think she would make a great family pet because she has such a sweet and gentle nature. She does lack some confidence--she gets startled by loud or sudden noises and movements, but I think that will work itself out as she learns new experiences. She shows no interest in squirrels or our hedgehog, so I suspect she'd be fine with cats as well.

To apply to adopt Sadie, please fill out the application below.
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/NVPA/Dog
