She moves through the world with confidence, curiosity, and enthusiasm, as if every day is an adventure waiting to begin.<br/>One of the volunteers who knows her best simply says:<br/>"Sabrina is special to me because she is a sweet girl and walks with confidence. She loves to roll and crawl in the grass."<br/>That description couldn't be more perfect.<br/><br/> FETCH IS HER FAVORITE SPORT<br/>If you ask Sabrina what the perfect day looks like...<br/>It begins with a toy.<br/>Continues with fetch.<br/>Includes running at full speed to beat everyone else to the prize.<br/>Ends with belly rubs.<br/>Then starts all over again.<br/>She absolutely loves toys, especially plush ones. She'll fetch them, carry them proudly, tug with them, cuddle them... and every now and then perform a little "scientific investigation" to discover what's hidden inside the stuffing.<br/>She's playful without being possessive.<br/>When playing fetch she currently prefers trading one toy for another instead of immediately giving it back, so volunteers simply play with two toys. It has become part of her game.<br/>If someone reaches for the toy, she doesn't react aggressively. Instead, she happily changes the rules and invites you to a friendly game of tug. Once the toy is released, she calmly sits down, ready for the next throw as if nothing happened.<br/>It's just another way this clever girl has invented to make playtime last a little longer.<br/><br/> A PARK IS HER HAPPY PLACE<br/>Take Sabrina to a park and you'll quickly discover what pure joy looks like.<br/>Every scent deserves investigation.<br/>Every patch of grass deserves a joyful roll.<br/>Every sunny afternoon deserves a few extra belly rubs.<br/>Watching her sniff the thousands of stories left behind by squirrels, birds, dogs, and every other visitor is like watching someone explore their favorite bookstore.<br/>She lives completely in the moment.<br/>And she invites you to do the same.<br/><br/> CONFIDENT, POLITE, AND READY TO LEARN<br/>Sabrina walks wonderfully on leash and carries herself with quiet confidence.<br/>One thing volunteers especially appreciate is how calmly she passes barking dogs in the kennel area. While many dogs feel the need to answer every bark, Sabrina simply keeps walking, focused on where she's going.<br/>During walks around the neighborhood and local parks, she has also shown calm curiosity toward dogs she encounters rather than reacting with barking or tension.<br/>Although she has not yet completed a formal dog assessment, these observations are very encouraging and suggest she may do well with another compatible dog after proper introductions.<br/><br/> WHO WOULD BE HER PERFECT FAMILY?<br/>Sabrina is affectionate enough to curl up beside you after a day of adventure, yet energetic enough to keep life exciting.<br/>Because she plays enthusiastically and loves chasing toys at full speed, we recommend children be 13 years or older.
