Sabor's Story
Meet Sabor, our lovely liver leopard dog. Her start with us was a sad and heartbreaking one. She and her family had been raised and cared for by a veteran on a rural property with no electricity or running water. When his health and mental welfare led to intervention from authorities he agreed he could not care for them and they reached out to us for help containing her, her dad and 3 6month old siblings. It was clear when we arrived they had been loved and were equally in love with their caretaker but knew nothing of anything more than the lot and tow trailer where they were raised. Faced with shelter processing and euthanasia we took them on.

Despite her rough start and limited exposure Sabor has spent the last several months learning the ropes of a companion dog and is now ready to be a public citizen. At adoption events she thrives with human interaction and sees life as an adventure to be explored. She loves the company of people, self entertains and will entertain you for hours. Toy tossing, leash chasing, chair lounging, you name it life's a game. True to her breed, she is loving, loyal, smart, athletic and strong willed. Her eagerness for life and love is demonstrated by the tail that never stops wagging. She is still learning so needs someone with patience and a willingness to grow with her. She prefers to be your one and only so a single dog house is the one for her. Is that home you?
