Ryker - Located in CO

Ryker had everything he needed - a loving home with an owner who adored him. And then his owner became very ill, and could no longer provide this wonderful guy with the life he needs and deserves. Ryker had to leave his home and is again looking for his forever home with a person who can love him, play with him, enjoy his athletic abilities and go on adventures. Ryker is a high energy dog with high toy/ball drive, ready for action! <br/><br/>Ryker has a solid training foundation. He knows all basic commands as well as more advanced commands and has fantastic potential. He needs someone who can provide him with an active life, a pal to play with. He loves loves balls almost to the level of "ball is life." His foster has been "polishing" his commands, and Ryker is doing great, learning not just the basics but how to wait for permission to leave the house, extended stays, advanced "leave it" and "wait." He enjoys training, loves his foster's pool, running as well as long walks, and will even run along side someone riding a bike!. On the leash, Ryker walks very well, pulling a little little at first but then quickly settles down.<br/><br/>Ryker also has a great off-switch. Give him some good exercise/play time and he is ready for the couch and cuddle time. Ryker loves to be touched, cuddled and just hang out and, preferably, sleep with his person. He also is great in his crate, and will easily go into his crate for some down time.<br/><br/>Ryker is truly a special boy.
