Ryker German Shepherd Dog & Great Dane Mix Ravenna, OH

Ryker is a 6mon old, 55lb Great Dane/ German Shepherd mix. He is estimated to be 90/115lbs as an adult. He is one fantastic boy, happy, affectionate and full of love. Ryker loves people and wants to be everyones best friend. Especially if you like to cuddle and give treats. Despite his size he thinks he is a lap dog. Note Ryker does not understand personal space if it's your space it was his space first and he may need to occupy that space at the same time as you.

Ryker has your typical puppy energy and lots of it. He really likes to playfully jump on people but we are working on this. At the same time he also has a calm peaceful side. This boy also loves toys of any kind, if they squeak even better. When he arrived he did display resource guarding with toys but we have worked on this and he is basically over it. That's not to say he won't back slide some in a new home but with appropriate corrections will be back on the right track.

Ryker is crate trained and house braking. He knows sit and is working on down. He is also working on leash manners.

Ryker is great with all other dogs, cats and kids older then 10+yrs. He will food guard with other dogs but is learning to community eat. When he arrived he did display food guarding with people but we have worked on this and he is basically over it. We can now put our hands in his dish while he is eating and take it away.

(Please note he is good with younger kids but do to his past with toy and food guarding all kids in the home must be 10+yrs)

Ryker is neutered, UTD on DA2LPP & rabies, de-wormed, heartworm tested and on flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
