Rye- In Prison Program

Meet Rye — an adorable Shepherd/Pit mix puppy who is growing into an amazing young dog right before our eyes! Rye is currently enrolled in a Prison Program where he’s receiving plenty of socialization, structure, and much-needed basic training. This sweet boy has already come such a long way, and we are incredibly proud of the progress he’s made. He’s affectionate, eager to learn, and soaking up every new experience with confidence. With the help of his trainers, Rye is working hard on his puppy manners and building the skills he’ll need to succeed in his future home. We would love for him to remain in the program to complete his training, so he will not be available to go home until at least 7/1/2026. However, we are accepting early applications now for approved adopters interested in giving this special boy a forever family once he graduates! Rye is looking for a loving home committed to continuing his training, guidance, and socialization as he grows.
