Ryder's Story
Ryder was originally adopted from us in 2023. He has been returned for rehoming because his adopter is ill and unable to care for him. He is now 5-6 years old and weighs 60-65 lbs.

Adoption Coordinator: Carol
Adoption Fee: $200

Ryder is a very handsome Lab mix. He was originally found as a stray in rural TN. He is described as loving and well behaved with an overall calm and low energy. Ryder enjoys his walks and does not pull on leash! He does have some leash aggression with other dogs, but seems to be fine with them when off-leash. Ryder is both house and crate trained. He is not cat tested. We think he would enjoy being the only dog at home.

Ryder loves being with his people and will follow them around at home. He does have some anxiety in a new environment, but once comfortable shows his true warm and caring personality. He'll likely do best with an experienced dog owner who will be patient as he transitions to a new home. Ryder IS a loving, devoted and beautiful companion who just needs someone to give a middle aged guy a chance.
