RYDER's Story

This is RYDER he is a one year-old border collie, cattle dog and Australian Shepherd mix. He’s approximately 45 to 50 pounds. Typical border collie personality but protective. We’re looking for a home for him with people that are familiar with the breed and understand he is a one/two persons dog. . He loves exercise and challenges. He’s smart and picks up directions really fast. He’s good with most other dogs, prefer female dogs, but he gets overwhelmed in the dog park so the best is for him not to go. He would do well with training such as agility classes. He’s good with kids but because of this breed - we’d rather have him in a home with kids over the age of 10. A yard is necessary for him. Only experienced owners please who are willing to exercise him and continue his training. .
