Ryder's Story
Meet Ryder!! He is a 3 year old American bully mix. He was brought into us after being found wandering in Plummer for about 2 weeks because of this he is lacking in his manners.. He is a super sweet boy, but he needs to learn the rules, bounds, and limitations with just about everything. He weighs 95 pounds and is very strong, (and stubborn!), he is a puller and does not realize how strong he is. How ever he loves to learn! We have been working with him with a head halter and he is doing absolutely beautiful with it, we do recommend his new owners invest in one of these tools as he does much better using that rather than a regular collar or chain that he can pull through. We do not recommend him going to a home with smaller children, because of his size and him not realizing how big he is, he can easily knock them over and hurt them on accident. Ryder does not have a mean bone in his body, but he will need to go to someone with a lot of love and patience to get help him blossom into the amazing boy we know he is wanting to be. We have not tested him with dogs and cats yet but were told through the community that he gets along well with others. If you are interested in meeting him please call us at 208-245-7387. Adoption includes all vaccinations, worming, flea and ear mite treatment, spay/neuter and any medical treatment needed while staying with us, and they also come with a full check up from a veterinarian.
