Ryder's Story
Meet Ryder—big ears, a bigger heart, and a whole lot of joy!

At just three months old, Ryder was rescued covered in mud from a ditch. Today, this happy, thriving seven-month-old pup is full of life and ready for a family to share it with.

Ryder loves people and makes friends wherever he goes. He gets along well with dogs big and small, and he’s always ready for playtime. He’s friendly with kids, too, but his enthusiastic, rambunctious play makes a home with older children his best fit. He’s still learning that not everyone can keep up with puppy-speed affection!

As a herding dog, Ryder is an extremely smart dog and needs a family who enjoys being active and will give him daily exercise, training, and activities that keep his busy brain occupied. Walks, games, and learning new skills will help this working pup thrive.

Ryder is kennel trained and making progress with house and potty training. He’ll need patience, consistency, and encouragement as he continues learning the ropes.

He’s come a long way from that muddy ditch. Now all he needs is a place to belong—and someone ready to embrace his energy, love his spirit, and join him on his next adventure. Could that be you?
