Ruzunga is a very, very shy Cattle Dog mix who is looking for a patient adopter willing to give him the time and love he needs to blossom. ❤️ He can be timid when meeting new people and is much more comfortable around women than men right now. With patience, consistency, and lots of love, we truly believe he can learn that men can be trusted too and become much more comfortable in a home with a male adopter.<br/><br/>Ruzunga is wonderful with other dogs and is incredibly playful once he feels comfortable. Having another confident, friendly dog in his forever home would be a huge benefit for him and help him navigate new situations. He loves playing with toys and is treat-motivated, which can be a great way to help build his confidence and bond with his person.<br/><br/>Although Ruzunga is very shy, he has shown zero aggression. When he is scared, he is much more likely to retreat or cower than react negatively. He simply needs someone who understands that earning his trust may take some time.<br/><br/>Ruzunga has lived in a home before and is likely potty trained. His forever family will need to give him time to decompress, allow him to come out of his shell at his own pace, and celebrate the small victories along the way.
