Meet our very special, well-trained, Rusty – this fabulous boy came to us when he’s “owners” said they no longer had time for him….it was clear they hadn’t spent any time with him and he had just been dumped in the backyard. Rusty has been with a trainer for 2 months now and has learned so so much about being a well mannered good boy. He then went to another home who left him behind in a campground – poor Rusty, we keep telling him not to lose faith and that us humans have a saying that the “third time is the charm.” Are you the perfect home for this wonderful boy who has waited so long for the right home to come along? Rusty was lived with a trainer for 2 months so he could learn to be the best dog in the world, his training has ended and Rusty really needs a foster or forever home! He is house trained and crate trained and loves being a house dog. He is energetic but with a little exercise, he settles right in. He is good with other dogs but think he will do best with a female dog or even as an only dog. He does well with kids too and he has been in a home with a 1.5 year old and did great. He loves to snuggle on the couch and is very affectionate too – this boy just loves being a house dog. He’s also a great little traveler and enjoys riding in the car and just hanging out with his person. Rusty is super smart too and learns things so very quickly and is so easy to train and teach tricks too. He is up to date on shots, neutered, microchipped and heartworm negative too! He is about 2 years old, 54lbs and is a Staffordshire Bull Terrier. In order to facilitate a smooth transition, our group will arrange for a trainer to bring Rusty to their home and work with them and show them all that Rusty has learned. He’s a great dog! Even if you can’t adopt Rusty, will you please consider fostering him? As a foster, you provide all the love and affection and we cover all of his medical and work to find him a forever home.
